What colour is the wind ?
Where does it come from where does it go
Is it a black as the darkest night or as white as virgin snow
As it rises and falls to whom does it call
As over continents oceans and deserts it squalls

What colour is the wind
In the valleys so deep or the mountains so high
From the cliffs  and the beaches rising into the sky
As a storm or a sea breeze drifting along
Driving clouds over sunsets when the day is almost done

What colour is the wind?
As it races by your window
Rattling shutters and around your house blows
When billowing the sails of ships on the seas
Or chilling the poles in a permanent freeze

What colour is the wind?
I don`t really know
If you do please tell me
Is it blue - is it yellow

Maybe green or bright red
Or a shade in between
No one can tell
For the colour of the wind
Has never been seen
