Rhymes

I tend to write in matching rhymes
To find the words to fit the lines
To catch the flow  of whirling words
Maybe I´m a lyrical nerd

Placed in verses following on
catch them quickly before they`re gone
Write them down upon the page
For people for upon to gaze

The words they fall in a crazy fashion
Onto the paper in a tumbling slalom
The verses wake me in the night
To rise and think and read and write

Sometimes I read what I have written
And by my own words I am smitten
Was this really me who did compose?
These flowing lines of rhyming prose
